Pain
Turn the pain down.
Hands-on techniques and smart load changes take the edge off pain you’ve carried for months, starting your very first visit.
What We Treat
You’ve had this hand or arm pain for months, and you’ve been told it’s just aging. It usually isn’t, and it starts with a cause-first evaluation, not a guess.

Why It Happens
Pain that has lasted months rarely means you’re just getting old. Something is still driving it: a joint that never regained motion, a muscle left weak after an old injury, a nerve that stays irritated, or a way of moving that keeps reloading the sore spot. Time alone doesn’t sort that out.
The problem is that quick appointments skip the digging. A cause-first evaluation, one-on-one with a Certified Hand Therapist, takes the careful look others skipped and finds what’s actually keeping the pain going. Then a graded plan rebuilds from there. Keep waiting, and you keep shrinking your life around a problem that can be solved.
The Honest Truth
Nobody regrets starting too early. Every week, someone in our clinic says they regret waiting.
How We Fix It
Every plan has an endpoint. Here’s what the four phases look like for long-standing pain.
Weeks 1–2
Pain
Hands-on techniques and smart load changes take the edge off pain you’ve carried for months, starting your very first visit.
Weeks 2–6
Prime
Targeted mobility work gives back the motion an old injury quietly locked away.
Weeks 6–10
Perform
A graded strengthening plan rebuilds the capacity months of guarding took from you.
Weeks 10+
Prevent
The tasks you gave up get tested under real load before you return to them: that’s the endpoint, not just another appointment.
Andy is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. He was patient and spot on with exactly what I needed during my recovery. I had multiple fractures in my hand. Without his assistance I wouldn’t have regained function as quickly and as perfectly. I expected way more loss of function long term, but with his therapy sessions I’m back to 100%.

Questions, Answered
It’s the most common thing people are told, and it’s usually wrong. Age can be part of the picture, but long-standing pain almost always has a driver you can actually change: lost motion, weakness, or an irritated nerve. A cause-first evaluation takes the careful look quick visits skip. Most people find the pain was never just their age.
Because most of what people try treats the symptom, not the cause. When the real driver is never found, the pain keeps coming back, and that’s exhausting. Hand therapy starts with a cause-first evaluation to find what was missed, then a graded plan built one-on-one with a Certified Hand Therapist. Different starting point, different result.
It depends on how long the pain has been around, and you get a plan with an endpoint from the start. A graded plan moves through all four phases, Pain, Prime, Perform, and Prevent, at a pace your body can handle. You will always know which phase you are in and what is left, not an open-ended string of appointments.
